Taos is immediately hiring a DevOps Engineer/Site Reliability Engineer for a cutting-edge tech company in San Francisco, CA.
 
Who you are: 
You are a DevOps Engineer/Site Reliability Engineer with solid experience improving infrastructure to be easily deployed. You are passionate about automation and infrastructure as code principles. You have knowledge of hands-on Web Services operations and troubleshooting. You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, professionalism, and collaborative nature required to interface with multiple teams. You are eager to bring your expertise to a company that values security, innovation, and high-quality results.
 
What you’ll be doing: 
  • Participating in development teams on best practices for cloud native application architecture
  • Migrating application stack from data center to AWS using Chef and Terraform as a POC
  • Advising on AWS architecture in greenfield environment
  • Integrating AWS with DNS with Data Center Infoblox
  • Creating POC CI to implement new deployment method with Jenkins Kubernetes and Chef
  • Evaluating AWS EKS for Kubernetes, and creating Kubernetes environments in AWS with KOPS
 
What you’ll bring with you: 
  • Experience developing systems and service deployment scripts for production and pre-production web services in AWS/VMWare hybrid environment
  • Lead projects of two teams to move the application stack to Kubernetes environments
  • Ability to implement Jenkins deployments with Fabric
  • Knowledge of secure deployment and operations processes to be PCI compliant
  • Hands-on experience with Server and Application monitoring and analytics
