Taos is immediately hiring an L2 Security Analyst for a cutting-edge tech company in San Francisco.

You thrive as part of a team or as an individual contributor.
 
What you’ll be doing:
  • Working in a 24x7 Security Operation Center (SOC) environment.
  • Providing analysis and trending of security log data from many heterogeneous security devices.
  • Providing Incident Response (IR) support when analysis confirms actionable incident.
  • Managing and working with MSSP and SIEM technology.
  • Directing MSSP to build SOC platform to alerts and detects threats that are relevant to client.
  • Interpreting Windows, Linux, Firewall, VPN, SSO and other security log files.
  • Providing threat and vulnerability analysis as well as security advisory services.
What you’ll bring with you:
  • GCIA, GCIH, or other related certifications.
  • Ability to drive innovation by analyzing and interpreting data to test and inform a new initiative or approach
  • Previous roles where you were held accountable for successful completion of multiple, individual projects simultaneously
  • Ability to communicate effectively by contributing significantly to the development and delivery of a variety of written and visual documents for diverse audiences
  • Experience managing change and demonstrating adaptability by embracing change and adjusting priorities or or processes and approach as needs dictate
